Missing Something on that Hallway Wall? Religious Home Decor ~ And More!

Have your seen the newest idea in home decor? Is your hallway screaming at you? Of course it is!! It is the most neglected place in the house!

Ladies! Get out your family pictures and your frames! And then, get out your unused decorative crosses, because putting the two together is the newest thing! And it's awesome! Here's where you start...

First, you need a wall space and a color. Yep, you need to figure out what color you are going to paint it. You need a complementary but darker color. Make it something somewhat dramatic. Once you get that done, you need a nice decorative cross that has character. The one I am going to use has colors of green and a tad of an orange tint. It matches my brown wall perfectly! That's because my opposite wall is a greenish tan color that is the perfect complement. Here is what my cross looks like.
I wish you could see it up close because the colors just don't show up very well in the picture. It is *really* pretty.

Anyway, you put that cross in the top left corner. The layout should remind you of a piece of stationary with a crest in the top corner. You can also use a smaller one in another spot on the wall between the pictures to tie it all together. I can't wait to finish mine! Send me your pictures and I'll post mine as soon as I have it!.
